Sherif Koussa is the CEO of Software Secured and a recognized investor, specializing in helping small to medium-sized software organizations enhance their application security. They founded Software Secured in 2009, where their innovative strategies assist clients in achieving compliance with industry standards such as OWASP Top 10 and HIPAA. Prior to this, Sherif held important roles at companies including Wells Fargo as an Information Security Engineer and Macadamian Tech as a Project Lead. They also contributed as the Ottawa Chapter Leader for OWASP from 2006 to 2022 and were involved with the SANS Institute's Steering Committee from 2007 to 2011.
