Roxana Elena Tanase has extensive experience in machine learning and computational mathematics, currently serving as a Machine Learning Developer at SOFTWIN since October 2019. Prior to this role, Roxana worked as a Computer Vision Software Developer at Bosch for a brief period in 2018. A Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from August 2009 to July 2017, Roxana developed quantitative modeling and simulation frameworks in Matlab, focusing on cell migration analysis and efficient algorithms for parameter estimation, while also lecturing undergraduate students. Roxana's earlier experience includes managing a medical database from July 2001 to March 2011. Roxana holds a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bucharest.
