Sergio Belmar Caamaño

Sergio Belmar Caamaño is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and technology operations management. Currently serving as the Director Regional de Infraestructuras y Operaciones Tecnológicas at Softys since May 2024, Sergio leads regional IT strategy across eight countries, focusing on system continuity, security, and financial efficiency. Previous roles include Subgerente Operaciones e Infraestructura TIC at CGE S.A., where Sergio oversaw technical teams and cloud adoption initiatives, as well as leadership positions at Banco Central de Chile, Metrogas Chile, and Autopista Central. Sergio holds an Ingeniero Civil Industrial degree from Universidad de Las Américas and has completed various diplomas in information technology and digital transformation.
