Amanda Coopersmith

New York Chapter Lead at SoGal Foundation

Amanda is a graduate of Stanford University’s Product Design program. Through Product Design, Amanda learned to integrate design thinking methodology and mechanical engineering to solve “wicked problems.” She is deeply passionate about designing tools and programs that work for diverse populations and providing great design to those who need it most. Amanda has worked across several non-profit initiatives, including working as a Design Fellow for TeachAIDS, improving mental health access at Stanford through iThrive, working at a grassroots organization in South India, and designing volunteer programs for the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula. She is also a founding member of Project Include, a non-profit working to provide transparency in hiring and benefits across Silicon Valley companies. Amanda’s passion for equity led her to Parity, where she is helping design and scale the growing Parity Professional Program (P3) for 2018.
