Karina Shah

Karina Shah has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Karina is currently working as an Investment Associate - Asia at Capria Ventures, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Chapter Lead at SoGal Foundation starting in November 2019. Karina also worked at Turbostart from July 2020 to March 2022, where they held a role in Strategy and Investments. Karina's experience includes a fellowship at Impact Amplifier in 2019, where they supported the growth of high impact businesses in Africa. Karina also worked as an Associate at 3one4 Capital from September 2017 to April 2019. Earlier in their career, Karina worked at PwC as an Associate - Valuation from June 2016 to August 2017, and at EY in various roles including Consultant, Industrial Trainee, and Transfer Pricing Intern from April 2013 to May 2016.

Karina Shah began their education in 1999 at Vidyashilp Academy, where they completed their primary education. In 2009, they graduated from Vidya Niketan School with an ISC - Grade 12 degree, specializing in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, and Mathematics.

Karina then pursued a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree at Jain (Deemed-to-be University) from 2011 to 2014. Karina'sstudies focused on Finance, Business Management, and General subjects.

In 2012, Karina attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained their Chartered Accountant certification in January 2016.

During their time at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, they also participated in a Summer School program in 2012 at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The program focused on business analysis and valuation (AF 215).

Karina has further expanded their knowledge through additional certifications. Karina obtained a Chartered Accountant certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in January 2016. Karina also has certifications in Advanced Valuation and Strategy - M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI), and Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I from Yoga Alliance.
