Elizabeth Galbut has worked in a variety of roles in both the private and public sectors. Elizabeth began their career in 2008 as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at Georgetown University. In 2010, they joined Deloitte as a Summer Scholar in Strategy & Operations, and then moved into a full-time role as a Consultant and Business Analyst in the same department. In 2011, they joined Innovation Factory at Johns Hopkins University as Managing Director and President, and in 2014 they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Entrepreneurial Finance at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. From 2015-2017, they were a Founding Partner and Advisor at A-Level Capital, LLC, Co-President and Board Member at SoGal Foundation, and Co-Founder and Managing Partner at SoGal Ventures. In 2016, they also began working as a Visiting Professor in MFA Products of Design at the School of Visual Arts.
Elizabeth Galbut's education history began in 2007 when they received their Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University in Economics and Government. In 2009, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for Economics and Finance, as well as Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona for International Business. From 2013 to 2015, they attended The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School for an MBA and Maryland Institute College of Art for a Master of Arts in Design Leadership. In 2015, they also attended Stanford University for a Venture Capital Executive Education program.
