Pocket Sun has been involved in various entrepreneurial and venture capital projects since 2014. Pocket co-founded SoGal Ventures in 2017, a venture capital fund for next-generation businesses, and has since grown the portfolio to 45 world-class businesses. In 2018, SoGal Foundation was established as a 501c3 non-profit, and now has 50 local communities on 6 continents and 132k+ subscribers. In 2022, Pocket Sun became a board member and investor for both indē wild, a science-meets-Ayurveda clean beauty and wellness brand, and ZZ Driggs. In 2017, they also founded SheVC, the first community across Asia for women investors, and presented Channel NewsAsia's TV show Start-UP Season 5, where they ventured out from Singapore to Jakarta, Taipei and Yangon in search of the next big startup.

Pocket Sun holds a Master of Science (MS) in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Business Administration from William & Mary, and a VC Unlocked Certificate from Stanford University and 500 Startups. Pocket also holds a certificate from the Stanford University and 500 Startups Insider's Guide to Silicon Valley Investing Program.
