Ben Marshall

Ben Marshall is an experienced music industry professional with a diverse background in curatorship and promotion. Since February 2010, Ben has held multiple roles at Sydney Opera House, including Curator for Vivid LIVE, Head of Contemporary Music, Co-curator for the GRAPHIC festival, and Producer for Contemporary Music. Prior to this, Ben was a Promoter at Handsome Tours from June 2005 to February 2010, where Ben established Inertia Music's touring company, Civil Society, facilitating notable Australian tours for artists such as The National, Sia, and The xx. Ben's earlier career includes a role as a Radio Presenter at FBi Radio (September 2003 - October 2007) and second-in-charge of sales at Inertia Pty Ltd (February 2003 - June 2005), as well as experience as a Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills (August 2000 - November 2002). Ben holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from both Murdoch University and Queen Mary University of London.
