Mahroof NM is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Enterprise Project Management Office at Sohar International since December 2021, Mahroof has played a key role in formulating and executing the bank's long-term strategy and establishing a robust strategy execution framework. Previously, as Vice President of IT Business Solutions at Sohar International, Mahroof managed a portfolio of critical banking solutions and successfully launched comprehensive cash management platforms. With a strong background in business intelligence and enterprise IT applications gained during roles at National Bank of Oman and Emirates NBD, Mahroof has also contributed to the establishment of BI strategies and competency centers. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Dicetek LLC and Emirates NBD, along with foundational roles in IT and programming. Mahroof holds an MBA in FinTech from Manipal Institute of Technology and has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Calicut University, alongside a PG Diploma in Computer Applications.
