Riaz Alam

Riaz Alam is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Assistant General Manager and Team Lead for Digital Trade Finance at ICICI Bank since December 2018. In this role, Riaz leads the digital team to enhance trade finance customer journeys on various digital platforms, manages cross-border payment services, and initiates strategic partnerships with fintechs. Prior to ICICI Bank, Riaz held leadership positions at Axis Bank in Circle Transaction Banking, focusing on retail banking and treasury trade finance, and began a career in finance as a Senior Executive at Pearson Drums & Barrels Pvt. Ltd. Riaz holds an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calcutta, along with a certification in Treasury Management from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.
