Sami Habib

Sami Habib is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Sohar International since May 2024. Prior to this role, Sami worked at ahlibank from January 2021 to May 2024 as a Capital Market Strategist, where responsibilities included analyzing fixed income and equity market data to identify investment opportunities and mitigate portfolio risks, as well as serving as Deputy Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst for Equity Mandates and Funds. Experience also includes a position as an Investment Analyst, focusing on equities and portfolio management, and contributing to the Investment Transaction Support team at the Oman Investment Authority in late 2020. An earlier role as a Financial Analyst at Colorado State University involved managing part of the Summit Fund, with a focus on securities.
