Jaime De Pena has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Jaime started their career as a Technical Operations Manager at XCast Labs, Inc in 2004 and worked there until 2011. In this role, they were responsible for managing IT needs and deploying hybrid Cisco networks.
Later, from 2011 to 2014, Jaime worked as a VCIO (Virtual Chief Information Officer) at Netfusion Inc. Jaime worked closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements. Jaime also conducted business interviews with prospective clients.
In 2014, Jaime joined Sohonet as a Lead Support Engineer, and later moved up to become a Support Manager. As a Support Manager, they led a team of Network Support Engineers and actively participated in the recruitment and hiring process. With their expertise, they also maintained regular one-on-one meetings with their team members.
In 2020, Jaime took on the role of Head of Support, North America at Sohonet, and is currently serving as the Director of Support, North America.
Jaime De Pena holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Academia Colón, which was obtained between the years 1995 and 1999. In addition, they have also obtained a Certification in Sound Engineering from Musicians Institute. Furthermore, Jaime has received the ACE: L2 certification from Arista Networks in December 2021 and the ACE-A certification in the same year.
