Rob Winchell

Rob Winchell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the technology industry. Rob is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Sohonet since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at 5th Kind, Inc. from April 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they were the Director of Software Engineering at WWE from October 2021 to April 2022. Rob also had a role as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Entertainment Partners from January 2020 to February 2021, where they led the transition of engineering teams to a mixed on-shore/off-shore model. Additionally, they have held positions such as the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at SyncOnSet Technologies from September 2019 to January 2020, and from October 2015 to January 2020, respectively. Rob has also worked at companies like Brightcove as a Senior Engineering Manager and Architect/Product Owner, Adobe as an Engineering Manager and Computer Scientist, Vibren Technologies as a Principal Engineer, Rachis Corporation as a Principal Engineer, and Lernout & Hauspie as a Software Engineer.

Rob Winchell attended Bucknell University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
