Michael Partenio, P.E. is an experienced geotechnical engineering professional currently serving as the Geotechnical Department Manager at Soils & Structures since October 2018. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Geotechnical Staff Engineer at CTI and Associates, Inc. from January 2017 to October 2018. Michael's academic background includes a Master of Science in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Michigan. Additional experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Michigan, focusing on seismic stability of municipal solid waste, and various internships that involved soil and concrete testing, field borehole sampling, and administrative geotechnical tasks.
