Gonzalo Picun

Gonzalo Picun is an accomplished professional in the field of microelectronics and business development, currently serving as Director of Business Development & Technical Marketing at SOITEC since April 2020. Previously, Gonzalo held positions as SiC Business Development Manager and SiC Program Manager, focusing on business strategy, product definition, and market opportunities. At CALY Technologies, Gonzalo worked as Business Development Manager, contributing to the development and commercialization of Specialty Silicon Carbide devices. Prior experience includes co-founding X-REL Semiconductor as CTO and Business Development, where Gonzalo led the strategy and release of high-reliability products, and serving as Design Manager at CISSOID, overseeing high-temperature ASIC projects. Gonzalo holds an MSc in High-Temperature Microelectronics from Université catholique de Louvain and a degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Microelectronics from Universidad de la República.
