Serverless Application Developer - Back End at sojo

Sean Sawyer has extensive work experience in the tech industry. Sean started their career as a Loan Modification Processor at Nationstar Mortgage in 2010. Sean then worked as a Manager at Converse, where they focused on delivering excellent customer experiences. After that, they worked as an Advertising Sales Representative at Naylor, LLC, where they tracked and recorded client conversations and initiated sales and marketing calls.

In 2014, Sean joined Digistrive, Inc. as a Customer Support Analyst, where they resolved technical issues for end users and managed tracking information. Sean then worked as an IT Coordinator at Wolverton & Associates, providing desktop support and building video conferencing computers.

In 2016, they became a Support Technician at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where they provided desktop support for a large number of machines and created backup and recovery applications. Sean also worked as a System Software Specialist at the same company, building print queue and password generator applications.

From 2017 to 2019, Sean worked as a Technical Service Engineer at WatchGuard Video, where they closely collaborated with police departments to deploy in-car video and body camera systems. Sean also provided customer service and training and designed tools for evidence management software.

In 2017, they joined Motorola Solutions as a Sr. Engineer I, leading a team of engineers and deploying evidence management software for police departments. Sean also designed and built tools to enhance functionality and automation.

In 2020, Sean transitioned to the role of Sr. Engineer III at Motorola Solutions, where they provisioned Azure VMs, deployed evidence management software, and ensured compliance with specifications. Sean also worked as a Production Engineer at Red Canary, pinpointing inefficient EC2 instances and implementing cost-saving measures.

Most recently, Sean started working as a Serverless Application Developer - Back End at sojo in 2023.

Sean Sawyer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development from Western Governors University from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Sean has earned several certifications including ITIL Foundations from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2020, CompTIA Project+ from CompTIA in January 2020, CIW Site Development Associate from Certification Partners (CIW) in September 2018, MCSA: Windows 10, MS: Configuring Windows Devices, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional all from Microsoft in 2015 and 2016, and A+ from CompTIA in December 2018.
