Carmen Pitre

Carmen Pitre has extensive work experience at the Sojourner Family Peace Center. Carmen started in 2002 as the Executive Director and later became the Co-Executive Director in 2009. In 2012, they became the Executive Director once again and held this role until December 2017. From December 2017 onwards, Carmen Pitre took on the position of President & CEO at the organization.

Carmen Pitre attended South Lafourche High School from 1977 to 1980, where they obtained their High School diploma. Carmen then went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1980 to 1984, earning a Bachelor's degree in English. Additionally, they also attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana during the same time frame, although no specific degree or field of study is provided.
