Adam Taylor has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Adam started their career as the Executive Director of Global Justice from 2001 to 2005, where they played a key role in fundraising, staff management, and strategic planning.

From 2005 to 2010, they worked as the Political Director at Sojourners, where they contributed to the organization's mission of inspiring hope and transforming individuals, communities, and the world.

In 2010, they joined World Vision as Vice President of Advocacy, where they managed government relations, policy, and campaigns/outreach teams. Adam focused on advocating for child and maternal health, fighting human trafficking, and combating malnutrition and hunger.

Adam then moved on to the World Bank Group in 2014 as an Advisor and Lead for the Faith Initiative. In this role, they spearheaded efforts to build partnerships between the World Bank Group and faith-based organizations worldwide, fostering dialogue across religious traditions and development sectors.

Lastly, in 2018, they returned to Sojourners, this time as President. In this capacity, Adam continues to inspire hope and drive change by speaking to the intersection of faith, politics, and culture. Adam mobilizes people of faith and conscience to take action for justice and peace, with active campaigns on various social issues.

Adam Taylor earned their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Emory University from 1994 to 1998. Adam then pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy with a focus on Development Economics and International Development at the Harvard Kennedy School between 1999 and 2001. Lastly, Adam Taylor completed their Master's in Divinity, specializing in Religion/Religious Studies, at Virginia Union University from 2007 to 2009.
