David Laks has over 30 years of experience in the marketing and business world. David began their career in 1987 as the President and Co-Founder of LoJack of New Jersey, where they licensed rights and founded the company to introduce a new product to the marketplace. David then moved to Sony Electronics Inc. in 1991 as a Strategic Consultant. In 1993, they founded DSL Global Event Marketing, a noted early adopter of experiential marketing, where they were retained by blue chip global brands to expand market reach, launch new products, and increase awareness through high-touch, face-to-face marketing. In 2005, they became Co-CEO and Principal Consultant of DSL Consulting Services LLC, where they managed large, complex integrated marketing programs online/offline and in social media. In 2009, they became the CEO of Sok-It, and in 2012 they became Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Cinelan, a digital film studio. At Cinelan, they lead business affairs and operations, and drives strategy in concert with a seasoned team of film and media industry veterans.
