Aki Helin

Aki Helin is an accomplished IT and digital development executive with extensive experience in leading digital transformation initiatives across various sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of IT and Digital Development at SOK since January 2020, Aki oversees the IT transformation for a diverse portfolio including over 500 restaurants and 50 hotels, as well as responsibilities in loyalty programs, marketing technology, and sustainability operations. Prior to this role, Aki held multiple positions at Sanoma Media Finland from October 2008 to January 2020, progressing from Project Manager to Product Owner, leading B2C digital transformations and monetization efforts. Aki's earlier roles also encompass management positions in marketing, web design, and IT consulting, showcasing a strong foundation in digital strategy and team leadership. Additionally, Aki served as a board member of Digital Forum Finland, advocating for the interests of digital service providers in the Finnish market.
