Annika Nordbo

Annika Nordbo is a seasoned professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Head of eCommerce Data and Analytics at SOK since March 2021, where a new team was established to enhance the growth of the eCom platform. Previously, Annika led the data and analytics team at VR Group from August 2017 to February 2021, building the team from the ground up to encompass the entire data value chain. Annika's career also includes significant contributions at Finnair, where roles ranged from Head of Data Science to Customer Insight Analyst, focusing on transforming data into actionable insights for multiple commercial functions. Additionally, Annika engaged in academic research in atmospheric physics as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki, where a PhD in Meteorology was also earned alongside a Master’s degree.
