Katie Otto

Katie Otto is the current Account Coordinator Manager at Sokal. Katie has also worked as an intern at Girls Rock NC in 2018. In this position, they were responsible for designing flyers, updating and designing guidebooks, acting as a camp counselor, coordinating photography and videography work, and documenting the camp and showcases. Katie is passionate about empowering girls and women and believes that creativity, confidence, and collaboration are key to achieving this goal.

Katie Otto completed their undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned degrees in communications studies and women's and gender studies. Katie then participated in the UNC in Sevilla Program at Universidad de Sevilla, where they studied communication and media studies. Finally, they attended East Mecklenburg High School, where they completed the International Baccalaureate Program.

Katie Otto reports to Collette Elgin, Director of Account Services. Katie Otto works with Chris Brown - Account Manager, Audrey Mattison - Account Coordinator, and Shannon Barbour - Senior Media Strategist.
