Myles Farrington is currently a Paid Social Specialist at Sokal. Previously, they worked as a Team Trainer at Whole Foods Market from December 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they monitored and scheduled time for food safety and protocol trainings for a team of 150+, trained over 80 team members starting on their first day, and created training and guidance documents to expedite the team training and meet compliance deadlines. Myles also monitored staff headcounts to ensure our numbers were enough to see orders completed on time, performed auditing and coaching with team members based on their personal shopper metrics, such as time to finish collecting items for an order, number of mistakes and etc., filled out disciplinary documentation explaining the events of a situation when one arose as well as gathered both sides to ensure objectivism, answered questions and assisted team members with tech problems and issues finding items for orders, settled conflicts between team members and Amazon drivers in sometimes high tension situations, provided support for team members in times of need through conversing and listening, and coordinated with other team's leaders to form new standard operating procedures that would improve productivity and cohesion between my team and theirs. Myles departed in order to focus on their degree at UNC.
Myles Farrington has a Bachelor's degree in Media and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Associates in General Education from Durham Technical Community College, and an Associates in the Arts from Durham Technical Community College. Myles also has a Bachelor's degree in Media and Journalism from UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media.
