Pete Hurdle

Pete Hurdle is the current Director of Creative Services at Sokal. Pete has over 15 years of experience in the design industry, with a focus on publications, branding, and marketing materials. Pete has a strong background in print and online production, logo design, and style guide development. Pete has taught design at the collegiate level and has extensive experience working with students in production roles. Prior to their current position, Pete worked as a Graphic Designer at News 14 Carolina (Time Warner News) and as a Graphics and Production Coordinator at UNC Charlotte. In these roles, they created promotional materials, managed print and online publications, and oversaw university students in production roles.

Pete Hurdle has a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Pete Hurdle reports to Melissa Clark, CEO. They are on a team with Michaela Mundorf - Director of Digital & Strategic Marketing, April Safar - CFO, and Randy Mason - Director of Major Account Support. Wes Broadhurst - Production Studio Manager, Brittany Simpkins - Graphic Designer II, and Jason Labrada - Senior Developer report to Pete Hurdle.
