Allera Akpan

Allera Akpan has extensive work experience in the field of mental health, counseling, and education. Allera started their career in 2016 as a Professional School Counselor at Prince George's County Public Schools, where they worked until 2021. During their time there, Allera held various roles and provided counseling services to students.

In 2018, Allera joined Core Empowerment LLC as a Mental Health Therapist and worked until 2023. During their tenure, they provided therapy and counseling services to individuals. Allera'srole at Core Empowerment LLC ended in May 2023.

In 2021, Allera joined New Millennial Counseling & Consulting as a Mental Health Therapist, where they currently work. Allera brings their expertise in therapy and counseling to help individuals in need.

Allera Akpan has a diverse education history. In 2009, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology with a concentration in Africana Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Allera then went on to study abroad at Stellenbosch University in 2012-2013.

In 2014, Allera pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling at The Johns Hopkins University. Allera completed this program in 2016. During the same period, they also obtained a Post-Master's Certificate (PMC) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education.

Returning to the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, Allera pursued a second Post-Master's Certificate, although the field of study is unspecified. This certificate was obtained between 2016 and 2018.

In addition to their academic achievements, Allera has a certification in the International Mentor Training Program, Level 2. The institution and the year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
