Riley Keats has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. They started their career as a Maintenance and Reliability Engineering intern at Husky Energy in 2019. This was followed by a role as a Mechanical and Process Engineering intern at the same company in 2020. Concurrently in 2020, they also worked as a Payload Research and Design intern at Memorial University of Newfoundland. In 2021, Riley joined Solace Power as a Mechanical Design and Fabrication intern and later transitioned to the role of Mechanical Engineer in 2023. Additionally, in 2022, they worked as a Subsea Mechanical Design intern at eSonar.
Riley Keats completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2018 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained a certification called the Tech Stewardship Practice Program (TSPP) from Tech Stewardship in February 2023.
