Jamil Ahmed

Jamil Ahmed is an experienced technology professional specializing in solution engineering and middleware messaging, currently serving as the Director of Solution Engineering and Distinguished Engineer at Solace since January 2017. Prior to this role, Jamil held the position of Vice President and Global Head of Platform Engineering at Citi, where responsibilities included overseeing shared technology infrastructure for front office business groups. Jamil's extensive experience encompasses positions such as Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where leadership of the middleware messaging function was provided, and roles at Informatica, Nomura, Lehman Brothers, BAE Systems, and Morgan Stanley in various engineering and technical capacities.
