Andrew Espenlaub

Andrew Espenlaub has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Andrew currently holds the position of Principal Engineer in Research and Development at SolAero Technologies Corp since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked at UC Santa Barbara as a Postdoctoral Researcher from September 2018 to October 2019 and as a Doctoral Candidate and Graduate Student Researcher from July 2012 to September 2018. Andrew began their research career at the University of Pittsburgh as an Undergraduate Researcher from October 2008 to June 2012, working full time in the laboratories of Professors W. J. Choyke and R.

Andrew Espenlaub completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics at the University of Pittsburgh from 2008 to 2012. Andrew then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science & Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating between the years 2012 and 2018.
