Mike Sumner

Mike Sumner has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Mike started their career in 1999 as a Senior Production Engineer at Verticom, Inc. Mike then moved on to work as a Senior Electronics Engineer at Dynatex, International in 2001. In 2003, they joined Advent Solar, Inc. as a Senior Test Engineer. From 2007, they worked as a Principal Multifunction Engineer at Emcore Corp & Suncore PV Inc. Mike then joined Suncore Photovoltaics in 2014 as a Multifunction Engineer. Currently, they are working at SolAero Technologies Corp as a Senior Principal Engineer (Analyst), where their responsibilities include reviewing technical requirements and conducting analysis for satellite PV arrays.

Mike Sumner completed their education history as follows:

From 1986 to 1990, they attended The University of Texas at Dallas, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications).

Prior to that, they attended Dallas College from 1983 to 1986 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

From 1977 to 1980, they studied at Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Technical Education (Electronics).

Lastly, from 1975 to 1977, they pursued an Associate of Science in Electronics at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
