Clay Braziller is currently an advisor at Solaires Entreprises Inc. but has an extensive background in business development and marketing. Clay was previously the director of business development and marketing for Eco-Industrial Solutions Ltd. from December 2006 to February 2009. In this role, they were responsible for identifying sales targets, opening doors to new customers, establishing partnerships, product direction, and development of appropriate messaging and positioning (digital and traditional).
Braziller's experience also extends to the healthcare industry. Clay served as the Director of Healthcare for Tractivity from September 2012 to September 2014 where they were responsible for Tractivity's presence in the healthcare market. This included identifying appropriate sales targets, opening doors in top 20 US health care systems, establishing partnerships, product direction, and development of appropriate messaging and positioning (digital and traditional). As a strong customer advocate, Braziller worked with hospital executives, nursing, IT and other staff to ensure that the Tractivity service was a great experience for all users.
Before their work in the private sector, Braziller was with the Beedie School of Business at SFU where they held various positions including Assistant Professor, Program Head for Entrepreneurship, and Acting Associate Dean. Clay has also worked with KAST (Kootenay Association for Science & Technology) and Foresight Canada in various capacities.
Clay Braziller has an MBA in International Business from McGill University, as well as a degree in Engineering from the same school. Clay also has a black belt in BC Kyokushinkai Karate and is certified in Instructional Skills Workshop from ISW. Finally, they are certified in The Sustainability Step from The Natural Step Canada.
