Anatoly Yakovenko has extensive experience in the technology industry. Anatoly co-founded Solana in 2018 and currently holds the position of Co-Founder. Prior to Solana, they worked at Dropbox as a Software Engineer from May 2017 to October 2017. Before that, Anatoly was employed by Mesosphere as a Software Engineer from July 2016 to April 2017, where they played a significant role in building a distributed operating system. From 2003 to 2016, Anatoly held various roles at Qualcomm, including Senior Staff Engineer Manager and Lead Architect. Anatoly contributed to the development of high-performance Hexagon DSP off-loading software stack on Qualcomm chipsets, which were utilized in applications such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and 4K video post-processing. Anatoly also co-founded Alescere, a VOIP startup, where they led the development of SIP and RTP protocol stacks and server components for a VoIP system for small businesses from 2001 to 2003.
Anatoly Yakovenko earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Anatoly attended the university from 1999 to 2003.
