Sheraz Shere has extensive experience in the technology, fintech, and consulting industries. Sheraz is currently working at Solana Foundation as the GM Payments & Commerce, where they lead the development of commerce and payments solutions on the Solana blockchain. Previously, they worked at Google for three years as the A.I. & Machine Learning Services Lead, managing global AI & ML projects for enterprise customers. Before that, Sheraz founded XPrime.ai, a consulting firm specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Sheraz also co-founded Commerce Signals, a data science and fintech company that was later acquired by TransUnion, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, Sheraz held various roles at Google, including Head of Partnerships for Google Wallet and Head of Sales & Business Development for Google Checkout. Sheraz began their career at American Express, where they held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Business Development. Sheraz's earlier experience includes working at Ernst & Young Management Consultants and First Manhattan Consulting Group. Sheraz started their career as an Industrial Engineering Intern at IBM Canada.Overall, Sheraz Shere has a diverse background in technology, fintech, and consulting, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning, payments, and business development.

Sheraz Shere has a Master's Degree in Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a M.Sc. in Statistics and Operations Research (Optimization) at Princeton University from 1994 to 1996. Sheraz also holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Manitoba, where they studied from 1989 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Sheraz has obtained multiple certifications. In 2018, they completed the following courses from Coursera: "Leveraging Unstructured Data with Cloud Dataproc on Google Cloud Platform," "Serverless Machine Learning with Tensorflow on Google Cloud Platform," "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals," and "Serverless Data Analysis with Google BigQuery and Cloud Dataflow."
