Rick Bruin

Rick Bruin has extensive experience in roles related to product information management, e-commerce, and search optimization. Rick has worked at Solar Group since 2020, where they lead the PIM, E-Commerce & Search team in driving E-business operations and increasing online sales. Rick's responsibilities include platform excellence, process improvement, SEO strategy execution, customer solutions, and product content quality monitoring. Prior to Solar Group, Rick worked at Solar Nederland B.V. from 2007 to 2020, where they held roles such as PIM & E-Commerce Specialist, Global Information Specialist, and Senior Webshop Data Specialist. Rick was responsible for managing and improving product information processes, translating customer requirements, establishing global CMS systems, and training staff. Before joining Solar Nederland B.V., Rick worked at Mulder Media as a Reclame Teamlead from 2003 to 2007 and at Polychromal B.V. as a Projectcoördinator from 2002 to 2003.

Rick Bruin has a diverse educational background. Rick obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Commerciële Economie en Informatiemanagement from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, they pursued a program in Business Information Management Foundation - BiSL at EXIN in 2020.

Before their bachelor's degree, Rick attended Grafisch Lyceum Amsterdam from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a MBO degree in Grafisch Intermediair / Teamlead.

Rick also holds several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Rick obtained a certification in Usability, Experience & Conversion from Beeckestijn Business School in November 2023. In April 2023, they acquired a certification in Meer conversie met Neuromarketing & Psychologie from Unravel | Neuromarketing Research. Rick is also certified in Google Analytics through both Google (September 2022) and Douro Media (November 2019). Additionally, they completed a course in Productfotografie at FUH fotostudio in September 2016.
