Henry Greenwood

Henry Greenwood developed the role of Sustainability Coordinator at Kingsmead School in Enfield in 2010, assembling a group of students who carried out a variety environmental projects for which they were awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag. He used this experience to set up Green Schools Project which supports young people to lead projects that protect and restore the natural world, helping them to build essential skills while providing them the opportunity to play a role in tackling the climate and ecological crisis. Green Schools Project has worked with over 80 schools since 2015, supporting them to run projects on topics such as energy saving, travel, sustainable food and waste reduction. They have also delivered teacher training to over 200 teachers, helping them to include climate and the natural world into all areas of the curriculum.
