Craig August

Craig August has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Craig started their career as a Portfolio Analyst at Texaco Natural Gas in 1999. Craig then worked at Reliant Energy as a Senior Risk Analyst from 2001 to 2005, and later became a Senior Commodity Structuring Analyst from 2005 to 2007. Craig joined RRI Energy, Inc. in 2007 as a Manager Wholesale Planning and Analysis and stayed with the company until 2010. Craig then worked at GenOn Energy, Inc. as a Manager Modeling from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they joined Reliant an NRG company and served as a Senior Manager, Gross Margin from 2012 to 2015. Craig continued their career at NRG as a Director of FP&A Home Retail from 2015 to 2019, and is currently working as a Director of Portfolio Management since 2019.

Craig August attended McNeese State University from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Statistics. Prior to that, they attended Louisiana State University from 1990 to 1992, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any particular field of study.
