Kelli Gunter

Kelli Gunter is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation. Currently serving as Managing Senior Counsel at NRG Energy since January 2021, Kelli has held various senior legal positions including Senior Legal Counsel at Direct Energy from February 2017 to January 2021. Prior to these roles, Kelli served as an Associate Attorney at Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard, Kane Russell Coleman & Logan, and Schwartz, Junell, Greenberg & Oathout, beginning in 2009. Kelli began the legal career as an Attorney at Galloway Johnson, having obtained a Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Lamar University in 2004.
