Louis Teuscher

Louis Teuscher has extensive work experience in the field of tax, holding various leadership positions in well-established companies. Louis is currently the Vice President and Corporate Tax Officer at NRG Energy, a leading power company in North America. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President and Chief Tax Officer at Williams, the largest Natural Gas Energy Infrastructure Company in North America. Louis also held the role of Vice President, Global Tax at Talisman Energy, a global oil & gas company. Additionally, they served as the Global Tax Director at Kraton Polymers LLC and Director International Tax at Staples, where they played a key role in building new tax departments. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Tax Director at Schlumberger and held finance roles at Magnetek and Arthur Andersen.

Louis Teuscher received a Master of Taxation (Europe) from Black Forest University between 1987 and 1990. In 2002, they completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in the field of Business Administration and Management. Later, in 2005, they obtained a Master of Taxation (US) from The University of Tulsa, specializing in Tax Law/Taxation. Additionally, Louis Teuscher earned the certification of Certified Tax Advisor from the German CPA Association in 1997.
