Wade Thompson

Wade Thompson has extensive experience in the IT industry, with a focus on energy companies. Wade is currently working as the IT Director at NRG Energy since 2016. Prior to that, they held the role of Sr. Manager, IT at NRG Energy from 2009 to 2015. Before joining NRG Energy, Wade was the DBA Manager at Reliant Energy from 2001 to 2009. Wade also served as the IT Director at Coral Energy from 1996 to 2000. Starting their career, Wade worked as a Systems Analyst at Transco Energy from 1988 to 1995 and as a Database Administrator at United Gas Pipeline from 1985 to 1987.
