Emmanuel Akpan FCA, MBA is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, planning, and analysis. Currently serving as Finance Controller at Solar Turbines since March 2024, Emmanuel leads initiatives in financial planning, tax compliance, budgeting, and risk management. Prior to this role, Emmanuel held positions at Shelf Drilling as a Senior Management Accountant and at PwC Nigeria, progressing from Associate to Assistant Manager, where responsibilities included internal control assessment, financial reporting, and mentoring junior staff. Emmanuel began a career in auditing at Ernst & Young, gaining foundational experience in executing audit tests. Emmanuel holds an MBA from Lagos Business School, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Uyo.
