Anya Schoolman serves as the Executive Director of Solar United Neighbors since October 2017 and has been the Executive Director of Community Power Network since its founding in January 2011, aimed at replicating successful initiatives from Washington, D.C. As an independent consultant, Anya Schoolman has utilized over 25 years of expertise in government, NGOs, and foundations to assist non-profit clients in establishing strong grant programs focused on environmental and public policy issues. Previously, Anya Schoolman held the position of Director of Westwide Programs at the Wyss Foundation from 2003 to 2007, where responsibilities included the development and management of over $4 million in grants related to public lands and civic engagement in the American West. Anya Schoolman's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in History from Barnard College and a Master of International Affairs with a concentration in Environmental Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
