Hamza Farrukh

Hamza Farrukh is the Founder and Chairman of the Solar Water Project (Bondh-E-Shams), a clean water charity established in July 2014 that has supplied over 100 million cups of safe water using renewable energy and IoT smart technologies. Farrukh's leadership has earned the organization prestigious accolades such as The Points of Light Award, The Diana Award, and recognition in Forbes 30 Under 30. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Macro Rates Sales at Goldman Sachs from July 2015 to September 2023, a Summer Fellow at Monument Policy Group, and roles at the State Bank of Pakistan and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. Farrukh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Political Science, and Leadership Studies from Williams College, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
