Eric Pyle has an extensive work experience spanning various roles in environmental conservation, policy development, and strategic leadership. Eric has held positions such as Chief Executive Officer at the New Zealand Outdoor Access Commission, Chief Executive Officer at the NZ Wind Energy Association, and Director of Public Affairs and Policy at solarZero. Prior to these roles, they served as a Senior Analyst at the Ministry for the Environment and as a Senior Conservation Officer at the Department of Conservation. Furthermore, they have experience in advocacy and strategic planning through positions like Conservation Manager at the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society and Conservation Director at WWF. Throughout their career, Eric has showcased their expertise in environmental and social development, science policy, and conservation management.
Eric Pyle attended Wanganui High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Masters of Science in Natural Resource Management.
