Koen Burgers

Koen Burgers has a diverse work experience. Koen began their career in 2003 as a Management Trainee at Nutreco. In 2005, they became a Management Consultant and Practice Leader Strategic Alliances at Kirkman Company. In 2009, they became a PhD researcher at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. In 2010, they were a Management Consultant - Supply Chain/Value Chain Strategy at Integraal Samenwerken and a Consultant & Entrepreneur at SMRTprojects. From 2011 to 2020, they were the Director Strategy and Business Transformation, Program Manager Excellerate, and Manager Group Solution Management at Damen Shipyards Group. In 2020, they joined the Economic Development Board Drechtsteden as a Member and also became Co-Founder & CEO of SolarDuck.

Koen Burgers received their Master in Business Administration from Radboud University in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor in Business Economics from Avans University of Applied Sciences in 2000. In 2015, they earned a certification in Damen Leadership Development from Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Koen also holds a Change Management Practitioner certification from Prosci.
