Olaf de Swart

Olaf de Swart has a diverse range of work experience, beginning with their role as the Co-Founder of SolarDuck in 2019. SolarDuck is focused on developing Offshore PV solutions and has achieved significant success with over 70 leads, more than 30 NDA's, and 2 MoU's. Prior to this, Olaf was the Owner of Added value system engineering B.V., starting in April 2019.

Olaf's earlier work experience includes their time at Damen Shipyards Group, where they held various project engineering positions. Olaf began as a Junior Project Engineer in March 2009 and progressed to become a Medior Project Engineer in January 2012. From January 2015 to April 2019, Olaf served as a Senior Project Engineer Research.

Olaf de Swart began their education at Delft University of Technology in 2001, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Aerospace Engineering. They then pursued further studies at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Fundamentals of Advanced Materials from 2006 to 2009. Following this, in 2019 and 2020, Olaf attended a Japanese Language School to study Japanese language.
