Marie Burgquist

Marie Burgquist currently serves as the Director of Marketing at Solar Insure, starting in April 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Communications & Culture at Nelnet Renewable Energy from October 2018 to March 2024, where Marie orchestrated strategies for enhancing marketing, customer satisfaction, and associate experience. As a co-host, producer, and editor of the Watts Up Podcast, Marie contributed to a platform focused on renewable energy and sustainability with over 10,000 downloads and esteemed guests from the industry. Marie has also held positions as Director of Branch Operations, overseeing multiple locations and teams, and Director of Marketing and Business Development at GRNE Solar, where a centralized approach was introduced to streamline operations. Earlier roles included Marketing Communications Coordinator for The Charmm'd Foundation and Graphic Design Consultant for the Illinois State Board of Education. Marie holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing from Columbia College, achieved between 2014 and 2017.
