That of Solari is a story of generations, 300 years long: born in 1725 in Pesariis, a small town in the mountains of Carnia Friuli, the company was then known as the “Antica e premiata fabbrica di orologi da torre” (Old and Awarded Tower Clock Factory)."​

brand which encompasses Solari's creativity, brilliance and experience, and will re-launch the products that have made the history of the company and of industrial design: clocks artfully constructed with a technology which - in a world where everything changes quickly - has been perfect and unchanged for over 50 years. 
The solari lineadesign project will start with the Cifra 3, the iconic clock designed by Gino Valle at the end of the sixties and characterized by the flap system created by Remigio Solari; and with the Dator 60, the wall clock which also displays the date and the day of the week using the same system.

solari has operated in the USA market since the 1960’s, for example supplying the world renowned split-flap displays - in 1962 for the iconic TWA Terminal at JFK Airport - New York, or the display for ABC Television in New York during the United States Presidential election in 1964 and 1968. 
Nowadays Solari Corp is a highly regarded brand name, capable to supply products and services to primary clients such as New York City Transit, Long Island Rail Road, New Jersey Transit, TriMet - Portland, Metro North Railroad, MBTA - Boston, and Fort Collins - Colorado.
