Mary Grikas

VP, Global Communications at SolarReserve

Mary Grikas is the Vice President of Global Communications at SolarReserve. Mary has been with the company since August 2013 and is responsible for worldwide direction and strategic initiatives for external and internal communications, marketing, brand positioning, and public relations.

Grikas has developed and executed a global marketing and PR strategy with a focus on the U.S., Chile, South Africa, Australia and China. Mary also launched a new, multi-lingual website in English, Spanish and Chinese. In addition, they have implemented global, cross-functional internal communications and team-building strategies that bolstered team morale and fostered a collaborative, high-performance, winning team culture.

Under their leadership, SolarReserve has introduced molten salt energy storage technology to the world, garnering support from key stakeholders including the communities where our projects are located. The company has also raised brand awareness among analysts, investors and the renewable energy industry - evidenced by coverage by major media outlets including Fox News, BBC Television, National Geographic Channel, Science Channel, CNN, WIRED, TIME, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Gizmodo, Bloomberg, NPR, Associated Press, and US News and World Report.
