Shayne Butcher

Shayne Butcher has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1991, they joined Calibre Coatings Ltd. as the Vice President and continued in that role until 2018. In 1997, they became the Owner and Co-President of The Calibre Group of Companies, overseeing various businesses involved in coatings, renovations, fiberglass products, and paint recycling. From 2000 to 2018, they served as the Vice President Operations at Calibre Coatings (Edmonton) Ltd., a professional painting contractor. In 2003, they became the President of Calibre Environmental Ltd. (CEL), which focused on recycling and producing 100% recycled paint. In 1990, they became the President of S. E. Butcher Holdings Ltd. Additionally, in 2020, they became the Owner and President of TireForce Alberta, a local business specializing in tire services. Shayne also took on the role of Managing Director and Co-Founder of Solartility Canada, a licensed electricity retailer and technology company, in 2020. In the same year, they became the Managing Director of Solartility Inc., a distributed energy aggregator, and held the position until 2022.

Shayne Butcher pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Economics and Finance at the University of Calgary from 1989 to 1994.
