Chau Tran

Chau Tran has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Solazyme, Inc. since August 2012. Prior to this role, Chau worked at Geron as a Senior Research Associate II from 2008 to the present and held positions at Kosan Biosciences, where responsibilities included Senior QC Associate II and Senior Research Associate II between 2003 and 2008. Earlier experience includes working as a Bioanalytical Chemist at MDS Pharma Services from 2000 to 2002 and a Chemist at DSM in 2001. Chau Tran earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, completing the program from 1994 to 1999.
