Genny Hammond

Genny Hammond is currently the School Principal at Paramount Elementary School since July 2023 and has served as a Personal Trainer at SOLDIERFIT since May 2021. Previous roles include Assistant Principal at Salem Avenue Elementary School from December 2021 to January 2024, Assistant Principal at Western Heights Middle School from June 2016 to December 2021, and Christian Education Coordinator at Trinity Lutheran Church from September 2014 to September 2016. Genny also has extensive experience in the Washington County Public School System, where responsibilities included Data Management Specialist and teaching from August 2004 to June 2016. Early career experience includes working as an Assistant Manager/Lifeguard at Fountain Head Country Club from July 1997 to August 2006 and as a Consultant for Thirty-One Gifts from October 2010 to July 2014. Genny earned a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Salisbury University, along with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Frostburg State University. Additional education includes participation in programs at Learning Tree International and Hagerstown Community College.
